Brief info

Todd Hardy is a Clinical Associate Professor in Medicine at the University of Sydney, a Senior Staff Specialist Neurologist in the MS and Neuroimmunology Clinics at Concord Hospital, and Co-Director of the MS Clinic at the Brain and Mind Centre. He is Co-Chair of the PACTRIMS Education Committee, Chair of the ANZAN MS and Neuroimmunology Group, and a Principal Investigator on a number of MS clinical trials including Chief Investigator on the FIRMS EBV Trial. He leads the Australian Susac's syndrome Database (SuSAD). He is Co-Editor of Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation, Associate Editor of BMJ Neurology Open and he serves on the editorial board of Journal of Neuroimmunology and Frontiers in Neurology.

So, are you feeling comfortable that older patients don’t get neuroinflammation…  When you see white matter lesions on the scan, do you happily accept that they must simply represent small vessel ischaemia.  Sadly, this presentation may make you feel a little uncomfortable as it will cover the increasing array of neuroinflammatory conditions that can affect the older population.  However, fear not… this lecture will arm you with the knowledge that you need to be more confident in your practice.
