Dr Hassan graduated in 2000 with Honours from the University of NSW. He completed his basic physician training at Westmead Hospital. He completed his advanced neurology training through Westmead and Nepean Hospitals before completing further research and a neurophysiology fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He worked as a staff specialist at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals for several years then gradually drifted into full time private practise. His areas of special interests include nerve conduction studies/electromyography and headache management including Botulinum toxin injections. He currently practices at Campsie and Liverpool and is a visiting medical officer at Liverpool hospital.
